FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
We recommend purchasing your tickets well in advance. Early purchase increases your chances of getting the tour you want, when you want it.
How long do we walk and at what pace?
We walk at a leisurely pace with frequent stops. Our tours cover around two miles in about 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We typically take a quick break mid-way.
Should I bring anything with me for the tour?
Please bring your ticket voucher, either printed out on paper, or on the screen of your smartphone or other mobile device. You’ll probably also want to be wearing a pair of comfortable walking shoes, and bring a bottle of water as well.
Are cameras allowed?
Of course! You can also tag us on Facebook.
Where can I park my car?
You may park in the parking lot of the Holliday House at 619 Willcox Avenue.
Are there restrooms along the way?
We recommend you use facilities prior to your tour. There are usually restrooms available – but not a lot of them – along the way, depending upon the route we follow.
Are the tours wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Marion sidewalks can be difficult to navigate. Please let us know ahead of time of any special needs, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Should we tip our guide?
Only if you feel it has been earned.
Do you have private and larger group tours available?
Yes. You can contact us by phone, email or by filling out the form on our Contact page to schedule a private tour or a tour for 10+ people.
